Hi! I'm Dr. Amelia.
Veterinarian, Integrative Health and Life Coach, Consultant, Speaker, and Advocate for positive Change in Vet Med.
My name literally means “hard-working,” and after experiencing burnout, I realized there are two ways of working hard:
One version looks good on paper but doesn’t feel good—you're always chasing the next milestone to finally feel confident, accomplished, or enough. There may be brief moments of feeling "success", but most of the time it just feel draining.
The other kind of hard work feels aligned and fulfilling as you go—because it’s rooted in purpose, values, and self-compassion. You’re still growing and working toward goals, but you get to feel good now, not just “someday.”
With a decade in small animal general practice, urgent care, and relief work across 30+ veterinary practices, I’ve seen and experienced what leads to burnout—and, more importantly, what actually fixes it. Blending my clinical and personal experience with extensive training in coaching, change work, and integrative health, I’ve developed a proven approach that doesn’t just help vets survive—it helps them thrive.
